Join us on a two-week exploration of China with Scott M. Rodell, one of the world’s leading voices in Chinese Swordsmanship. For the first time, a non-Chinese teacher has been invited to lead swordsmanship seminars in China itself—an important milestone for everyone who loves and practises these arts.

3/20 Friday - Sightseeing Beijing, Forbidden City, Afternoon Bai Yun Guan (白雲觀)

3/21 Saturday - Jianfa & Feijian Seminar

3/22-23 Sunday - Sightseeing around Beijing

3/23 - High Speed Train to Pingyao, UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visiting the Magistrates Office, City Wall

3/24 Tuesday - Pingyao, meet with Local Swordsmith, afternoon City God Temple

3/25 Wednesday - Morning Flight to Hangzhou. Afternoon Cruise on Lake, Yue Fei’s Temple

3/26 Thursday - Morning Faxi Temple, Scissor and Sword Museum (中国刀剪剑博物馆), Train to Suzhou, Free Time to Explore Shiquan Jie, Master of the Nets Evening Musical Show

3/27 Friday - Sightseeing Suzhou Gardens: Garden of Cultivation (艺圃, Yì Pǔ), Tiger Hill (虎丘山) including Penzai Garden, Afternoon Train to Shanghai

3/28 & 29 Saturday & Sunday - Jianfa Seminar Shanghai

3/30 Monday - Travel to Longquan

3/31 Tuesday- Meet with Local Swordsmith, Longquan Sword Museums

4/1 Wednesday - Nature Preserve, White Cloud Rock (龙泉市白云岩)

4/2 Thursday - To Shanghai Tianzi Fang (田子坊), Pearl Tower

4/3 Friday - Shanghai, Yuyuan (豫园) and Bund, Afternoon Free
